Workshops and Routes as Part of the Celebrations of the UNESCO World Heritage Declaration
On the occasion of the sixth anniversary of the declaration of the traditional techniques used in the making of our ceramics as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, the activities held from December 9 to 14 have come to an end. UNESCO Week featured a total of eleven workshops and seven guided tourist routes along the ceramic murals of our city.
More than 250 people took part in both the pottery and ceramic decoration workshops and the guided tours. A resounding success that reinforces our commitment to the protection, promotion, and safeguarding of the traditional crafting techniques that were declared World Heritage by UNESCO six years ago.
