The #HolaCerámica 2025 event returns to Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) with a comprehensive programme of in-person activities that highlight the local ceramic tradition and its recognition as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.

Organised by the Department of Crafts, the event includes exhibitions, talks, workshops and guided tours aimed at bringing the art and history of Talavera ceramics closer to the public.

📅 Programme of activities:

From 21 March to 21 May
Exhibition: Anniversary of the declaration as Intangible Cultural Heritage (UNESCO).
Exhibition of pieces from Talavera, Puebla and Tlaxcala (Mexico) and Puente del Arzobispo.
📍 Venue: La Milagrosa Social, Cultural and Training Centre.

Saturday, 5 April
Conference / Open round-table discussion with professionals from the sector and historians.
📍 Venue: Women’s Centre.

On 4, 5 and 6 April (from 10:30 to 12:00)
Ceramic decoration and pottery workshops in public spaces.
📍 Venue: Various locations in the streets of Talavera.

On 4, 5 and 6 April
Guided tours of the Ruiz de Luna Museum and along the ceramic mural route.
📍 Venue: Talavera de la Reina.

This programme commemorates the importance of ceramics in Talavera’s cultural identity and its international projection thanks to collaboration with Mexico.
