During the month of July, Manises celebrates its Patron Saint Festivities in honour of Saint Justa and Saint Rufina, patron saints of the city and of ceramists. A month full of activities, music, workshops and exhibitions in which ceramics become the main protagonist.

The two most emblematic events are the Festa de la Ceràmica and the Cavalcada de la Ceràmica, both declared of Tourist Interest of the Valencian Community. These celebrations reflect the deep connection between Manises’ identity and its pottery tradition.

Festa de la Ceràmica – 14/07/2025 and 15/07/2025
Held on Avenida Blasco Ibáñez, it features stands with handcrafted ceramics, both local and from other regions. In addition, the public can enjoy live demonstrations of techniques such as wheel-throwing, raku, painting, flower-making and traditional socarrats.

Cavalcada de la Ceràmica – 18/07/2025
A unique event in the world in which members of the Clavaria Santes Justa i Rufina parade through the city on floats, distributing handcrafted ceramic pieces among the attendees.

These festivities, deeply rooted in local history and culture, are an open invitation to experience craftsmanship at its finest.
